Come worship with us Sundays and Wednesdays at 11am!*
*The fourth Sunday is our family service.
What to expect during worship
Welcome! Our church is a part of the Church in Wales, so the service is in the Anglican tradition. We pray using our whole bodies, which means that there will be times of sitting, standing, and kneeling, as you are able. We stand to sing hymns, to listen to the reading of the Gospel, to say our affirmation of faith (called the Creed), and to share the sign of peace with our neighbours. We kneel when we ask for God's forgiveness, during the prayers, and sometimes after we receive the bread and wine. We sit for the rest of the service.
What should I wear?
Some choose to wear nicer clothing, and some come in jeans or shorts. The priest wears traditional clothing called vestments over their clothes. You are welcome to come dressed as you are!

How do I follow along in the service?
We use three items in our worship: a seasonal order of service, a hymnal for singing, and a leaflet with the day's readings on one side and weekly notices on the other side. Don't worry about getting lost; if you need help, we are happy to show you where we are!

What is the music like?
We most often sing traditional Anglican hymns (religious songs in praise of God). We also sing some parts of the service. On special occasions, the singing group offers songs (both traditional and contemporary). If you love to sing and would like to join the singing group, we meet every Thursday at 2pm in the church to rehearse. New members are always welcome!

Are children welcome?
Yes! We welcome people of all ages, but have a soft spot for children. Don't worry about them making noise; that's what children do! We also understand that not every child can sit in a pew for the whole service, so if they need to move about, we have a special space just for them in the back of the church with toys, games, and things to colour.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

What about Communion or Eucharist?
Everyone (Christian and non-Christian) is welcome to come to the altar to receive a blessing. Simply place your hands across your chest to let the priest know that you want a blessing. If you are a baptised Christian*, you are welcome to receive the bread and the wine. When you come forward, place your hands together, palms up, to receive the bread. Take a sip from the chalice (cup) when it comes around. In the Church in Wales we no longer dip the bread in the chalice, so if you do not want to drink from the cup, place your arms across your chest after receiving the bread. If you are unable to come forward but would like to receive a blessing or the bread and wine, let the priest or wardens know and we will come to where you are seated. Gluten-free wafers are available; let the wardens or priest know before the service so we can accommodate you.
*If you are interested in getting baptised, please let the priest or wardens know.
